YOU CAN LEARN BASS AT ANY AGE WITH MUSIC ACADEMY
LITTLE LEGENDS
AGES 4-6
Getting started early is a great way to channel that creative energy of youngsters. We'll use content and language that is suitable for the pace of learning for a little legend bassist, building on the basics and learning techniques with fun songs. We have guides to help you find the right size of bass to hit the ground running.
FUTURE ROCKSTARS
AGES 7-11
When your child is ready to get rocking on the bass, we are here to guide them with songs and content that they will find fun and relevant, all whilst teaching the fundamentals of bassist musicianship and groove. Our students often go on to learn famous bass songs, obtain grades and bass qualifications.
ASPIRING MUSICIAN
AGES 12-17
We approach bass lessons from a holistic learning perspective, so if you're a beginner you'll get all the bass foundations that you need. We establish bass technique, scales, grooves and theory, and apply everything to your learning. If you've played before, we approach all of these areas, at your level, with the option to go on to obtain grades and bass qualifications.
ADULT LESSONS
AGES 18+
All of our bass teachers have taken the long journey to musical mastery and when you're ready to begin yours (or take the next step) we can help you. We'll help you get to grips with the core foundations of bass playing, so that you can learn your favourite bass songs with skill and musicality, or help you achieve bass grades.
MUSICAL PATHWAYS YOU CAN CHOOSE
All of our students work on the foundations of good musicianship, no matter what instrument they choose. Beyond this they can also grow with the Music Academy Pathways.
Progress Through Grades
Graded content is a great way to work through a progressive structure of content that will not only help you develop in skill and confidence but also provide you with musical qualifications along the way.
Develop With Performance
If grades are not for you, you can work your way through songs and content designed to push your ability and develop your skills and confidence with the goal of performance for yourself or for others if you choose.
Upgrade To Our Band Program
If you're ready to take it to the next level, you can join our band program. This is a unique opportunity designed to help you play with a band of like minded musicians. With the online option, you'll play with our house band Jam Tracks.
HOW YOU CAN ACCESS BASS LESSONS
OPTION ONE: 1-2-1 Face To Face Bass Lessons
We have team of fantastic bass teachers who are here to support you or your children no matter what your age, ability and goals are. Working through pieces, skills and even Rockschool grades (depending on location.)

OPTION TWO: 1-2-1 Online Bass Lessons
All of our teachers are also capable of running bass lessons through Zoom and Skype, so if for whatever reason you can't or don't want to travel to a lesson, we can still help.

UPGRADE: Band Programs
Taking your skills to the next level means performance. We have programs available where you can jam with our Music Academy Pro band. We also have an incredible band program for aspiring musicians with weekly group band class before taking to the stage, produce music videos or live stream every few months to showcase skills.
